The address unit is nice but the address numbers leave a lot to be disired. I would have thougt that he numbers would have been brass for the cost of the unit, not some little plastc pealoffs. I have repainted the unit to match match my oil rubbed entry ligting and have installed raisd numbers that have light reflective paint on them so if light is shined on them the numbes stand out and don't look cheep like peal N stick. I like the address unit but I dn;t feel that they should have cut corners on the numbers!

I bought this model because it is one of the few that will work on 120 volts instead of low voltage. I mounted it on a concrete pillar where there is no room for a transformer. It is sturdy and has a photocell that turns on and off instantly. The only problems were a grounding wire that was too short, slightly rough finish on the address panel and a lamp bracket that had to be bent downward a bit in order to install the bulb. The bulb is a two-pin spiral fluorescent that is standard on many new fixtures. Note that this item can be returned only if it is damaged or defective.

The signage is clear. the photocell works well and is even located under an overhang.

I was disappointed when I learned it was not 100% solar-powered:(
