This is a nice looking fan, but be aware that the blades are spray-painted a stainless steel gray color. It's really more gray than metal-looking. The color does match the metal base and fixture; I was just expecting something else when I opened the box. I suppose real steel blades might be somewhat disturbing, so in the end it will work considering the fan will hang a substantial distance away from eye-level.

This fan is absolutely amazing!

Although there is no remote for it (which is to be expected with such a low price) this is one of the quietest ceiling fans I have ever purchased.

It has both winter and summer modes and runs very smooth.

Installation takes about an hour, it is easier with 2 people, but not required. Installation time includes removal of old fan.

The light is super bright.

All in all an excellent product at an excellent price.

Assembled and installed the fan easily and quickly. Fan runs silently and the light provides sufficient light to work by in the kitchen. I am running off a single switch and wired the fan so that the light comes on with the wall switch and the fan with the pull chain. The light kit extends the fan to 15 and 1/2 inch from the ceiling putting it a bit lower than I would have liked but the fan and light are over a center island and do not pose a hazard or inconvenience. The fan does a good job of cooling the kitchen and takes a strain off the heat pump/air conditioner when cooking in hot weather. We have had several 95 degree days subsequent to installation. The price was exceptional for this unit.

Real nice fan that looks good in my kitchen. Works nice and gives off good light.
